Reactions as Afenifere Leader, Ayo Adebanjo Joins Peter Obi Rally in Ibadan

A Series of mixed reactions have trailed the presence of the leader of Afenifere, a pan-Yoruba socio-cultural group, Pa Ayo Adebanjo at the Obi-Datti rally organised on Wednesday by the Oyo State chapter of the Labour Party in Ibadan.

Recall that Pa Adebanjo and Pa Fasoranti had an altercation concerning the support of Peter Obi and the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the coming general elections in 2023.

His presence has generated reactions from followers, party loyalists, and the general public questioning the reason for his strange support for the Labour Party’s candidate.

While followers of the Obi-Datti movement celebrated his presence as a major heads-up for their party, some Twitter users who are against the movement queried the capacity and influence of Pa Adebanjo in the coming election.

Some went to the extent of claiming Pa Ayo Adebanjo cannot even deliver his ward for Peter Obi talkless of the entire Yoruba kingdom.
