Shooting Stars Defeat Adamimogo FC in Slight Win to Seal Round of 32 Spot

Ibadan Football Club, Shooting Stars Sport Club has defeated Adamimogo FC of Ondo State in one of the rounds of 64 games played on Wednesday at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium in Lagos.

In the match which ended with 4–3, Adamimogo FC took a shocking lead in the game in the 11th minute through Hakim, however veteran winger, Ajani Ibrahim got the equaliser for 3SC in the 22nd minute while Samuel Ayanride scored in the 25th and 26th minute respectively to give Shooting Stars a commanding lead against the Federation Cup debutant.

Coach Ogunbote of Meanwhile, 3SC coach, Gbenga Ogunbote made three substitutions in the 55th minute that saw Joshua Akpan, Samuel Ayanrinde and Kelly Kester make way for Alex Aghahowa, Anthony Okachi, and Ayo Adejubu for the rest of the game.

The 2023 Ondo State FA Cup runner-up, Adamimogo FC reduced the deficit in the 68th minute through Omolaja before Jeremiah scored the 3rd goal in the 90th minute to bow out of the tournament gallantly with the scoreline ending four goals to three.
