TIMOTHY ADEGOKE: Court Adjourns Sitting as Prime Murder Suspect, Adedoyin Fails to Appear

The murder case of Timothy Oludare Adegoke against Dr. Rahman Adedoyin and six others slated for hearing on Wednesday, July 20, 2022; has been adjourned following the absence of the prime suspect in court.

The reason for the absence of the Hilton Hotel owner, Dr. Rahmon Adedoyin, who is standing trial alongside six other members of staff for the alleged murder of a Masters Degree student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Timothy Adegoke, is unknown as at the time of filing this report.

After the recess, the defending and prosecuting counsels agreed to adjourn the case till October 10, 2022.

In the meantime, the leading prosecuting counsel, Mr. Femi Falana, has stated that the adjournment was to enable the completion of documentation of files meant for the court.
