The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has stated that President Bola Tinubu has restored hope to Nigerians since assuming office approximately a year ago.

While making the statement, Wike highlighted several achievements of his ministry during the one-year evaluation period.

The minister outlined accomplishments such as the establishment of the FCT service commission, the establishment of the women’s secretariat in the FCT with a designated Secretary, and the FCTA’s departure from the Treasury Single Account to facilitate access to internally generated revenue for project implementation.

Among other initiatives, Wike announced the commissioning of 120 kilometres of roads in six area councils on May 27.
