Members of the Association of Resident Doctors, UCH Chapter, Ibadan have embarked on a 3-day strike action to protest an alleged assault on a member of the association.
According to a release on their official Twitter page, on Saturday, a Senior Registrar was assaulted by a mob of administrative officers in the Hospital’s premises.
The association added that an emergency general meeting was convened in the aftermath of the assault and the doctors resolved to withdraw their services for 3 days in the hope that the culprits will be apprehended and charged to a court of competent jurisdiction within the time frame.
