A 67-year-old retired teacher, Mr Abel Atilola has been killed by some people whose identity have not been revealed.
Atilola who retired recently was ambushed and reportedly killed near his farm along Irawo in Tede, ATISBO local government area of Oyo State on Monday.
Sources narrated that the deceased had gone to his farm when he was ambushed by the assailants.
Public Relations Officer of Oyo State Police command, Olayinka Ayanlade, when contacted, confirmed the incident.
Ayanlade in a short message made available to Dailypost correspondent noted that investigation had commenced.
He said, “investigation into his murder has commenced”.
