Vehicle Crushes Woman’s Leg in Odo-Ona Elewe, Ibadan

It was a sad scene today at Odo-Ona Elewe, in Ibadan, after an unidentified woman’s leg was crushed by a registered jeep vehicle in Ibadan.

According to reports, the woman perceived to be lost in thought was standing by the road-side with one of her legs placed in front, at Odo-ona kekere area of Ibadan.

Eyewitnesses said the driver who drove into the street apparently trying to avoid rush-hours usually characterised by gridlock, unknowingly crushed the woman’s leg.

The blood which gushed out from the woman’s legs flooded the main-road which attracted people who started trailing the blood for enquiries.

The driver who had continued his journey was said to have stopped after he noticed some quick movement of people to the site which he had driven past.

He had reversed his vehicle to ascertain the reason behind gathering only to realise he had caused an accident.

With the help of people who started betraying emotions, he conveyed the woman to a nearby hospital for quick medical attention in Odo-Ona kekere area of Ibadan.
