We Need To Remain United, Shina Peller Tells APC Leaders

A member of the House of Representatives from Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency, Oyo State, Hon. Shina Peller, has called on the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his constituency to get rid of factions and groups within the party.

Hon. Peller made this call during a stakeholders meeting he convened comprising all the 4 local government party chairmen, 42 ward chairmen, 46 women leaders, 46 youth leaders, party elders and other opinion leaders of the party in the constituency.

In the same vein, the federal legislator seized the opportunity to urge all the ward chairmen and other notable leaders of the party to open their progressive doors to the people so that the party can grow progressively.

His statement read in part:
“There is need for us all to remain united in the overall interest of our party and our people. I am therefore urging the leadership of the party to do everything possible to eliminate different factions and groups within the party.

“Also, I am using this avenue to call on you all, the ward chairmen and other opinion leaders to open your progressive doors to the people so that our party can grow progressively.”

Moreover, the meeting served as an avenue for Hon. Peller to interact with the party leadership on his activities so far as a federal legislator elected under the platform of the party.
