An Ogbomoso group under the auspices of the Ogbomoso Youth Association has called on Governor Makinde of Oyo State to replicate the Ultra-modern bus terminals in Ogbomoso land, to facilitate more economic and tourism development in the town.
In an open letter written to the Governor by the group’s secretary, Erinfolami Junior urged Makinde to replicate the bus terminals at Takie motor park and Isale general area in Ogbomoso with amenities that will support economic activities and tourism in Oyo state.
The letter partly reads: “Ogbomoso Youth Association (chapter) is using this medium to call on His Excellency, Gov. Oluseyi Makinde of Oyo state to please remember Ogbomosoland with Bus Terminal centres like Ojoo, Challenge, and Iwo road Ibadan axis to help us build it within Takie motor park and Isale general area with amenities that will support Economic activities and tourism in our dear state”.
Recall that last Tuesday, Gov. Makinde joined by his Edo State counterpart, Governor Godwin Obaseki, had commissioned the Ojoo and Challenge Bus Terminals in Ibadan noting that, it was time to build a modern alternative to the existing transport system in Oyo State.
