Wetland Hotel Reacts To Ibadan Vendor, Khadi’s Death, Says Investigation Ongoing

The management of the Ibadan Hotel, where a popular Ibadan vendor was reported dead, reacted to the ugly incident by describing it as unfortunate.

The authorities of Wetland Hotel, Akobo, Ibadan, Oyo State capital, have extended regrets towards the death of Khadi, a lady who died in their hotel.

OyoAffairs.net had earlier reported that a popular Online Vendor in Ibadan, Adeshina Olayinka, known as Khadi, was found dead in the hotel on Thursday after she had lodged with a man who is yet to be identified the night before.

The hotel management, in her reaction, added that they are fully in cooperation with the Nigeria Police in their investigation to ensure the truth about the cause of her death upholds, and the perpetrator of the evil is brought to book.

The hotel urges the general public to be patient during what they described as a difficult time in an official statement made available to journalists.

The management of Wetland Hotel, wrote:

“To the General Public and our Dear Valued Guests, We regret to inform you that an unfortunate incident occurred at our hotel, Wetland Hotel. One of our guests passed away while staying with us.

“We are fully cooperating with the authorities in their investigation into this matter, and we assure you that we are doing everything we can to assist the police in their efforts to determine the cause of death.

“Please rest assured that the safety and well-being of our guests and staff are our top priority. We have taken all necessary measures to ensure that our facilities and services continue to meet the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
