Sanyeri, the popular Yoruba actor was named Olaniyi Mikail Afonja, at birth and is from Oyo state.
His dad is a craftsman while his mom is a trader.
Sanyeri was born on the 14th October, 1974 in Oyo Town, Oyo State Nigeria as the first child of his parent.
Olaniyi had his formal education at St. Michael Primary School, Oke-Ibo, Oyo State and moved to Durbar Grammar School, Oyo Town, Oyo State for his secondary school education.
Olaniyi Mikail Afonja began his acting profession in 1992 by joining a performance centre.
In 1996, Olaniyi relocated to Lagos State to continue his vocation and has since starred in some Yoruba films.
Olaniyi Afonja, famously known as Sanyeri got married to the mother of his children, and admirer for numerous year, Omolara Ajonja.
The wedding service took place at the Anchor Events at Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.
From that time, the sky had been the limit for Sanyeri.
