14-Year-Old Oyo Student Clinches 2nd Place in the 2022 NNPC Quiz Contest

Oluwatimilehin Charles Taleatu, a 14-year-old student from the Oritamefa Baptist Model School in Ibadan, Oyo state has emerged second overall at the NNPC National Science Quiz Competitions in 2022.

NNPC stated this in a post on its Twitter account on Tuesday.

The oil company said Taleatu came second in the keenly contested quiz.

In June, Taleatu, representing Oyo state, won the regional contest of the quiz in the southwest which included Lagos, Ondo, Ekiti, Ogun, and Osun.

Over the years, NNPC has made interventions in the education and capacity development areas, a fulcrum of its approach to Corporate Social Responsibility.

With the signing of the Petroleum Industry Act by President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, the company had said it was a further impetus to increase its impact in the lives of all Nigerians.
