Olugbon of Ile-Igbon Congratulates Tinubu, Urges Oyo Residents to Re-elect Makinde

Oba Francis Alao, the Olugbon of Ile-Igbon in Oyo State has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for emerging victorious as the president-elect in the just concluded presidential elections.

While commending the royal fathers who supported his ambition, he described Tinubu’s victory as a victory for unity, justice and fairness.

Similarly, the monarch has also saluted the president-elect for his courage, perseverance, and doggedness during the electioneering process.

In the meantime, Oba Alao who is the Deputy Chairman of the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs, has called on voters in Oyo State to rise up the same way for the Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde in the March 11 election.

“I hereby urge all residents of Oyo State to re-elect ‘Seyi Makinde for a second term having done well in his first term”, he stated.

The monarch has however, called on those dissatisfied with the election outcome to seek redress in the court instead of plunging the country into violence.
