President Tinubu Appoints Idris Ajimobi

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mr Idris Ajimobi as his Senior Special Assistant on Livestock Development, according to a statement from the Presidential spokesman, Chief Ajuri Ngelale.

The appointment follows the recent inauguration of the Presidential Committee on Implementation of Livestock Reforms and the establishment of a new Ministry of Livestock Development.

As stated in the release, President Tinubu aims to harness and develop Nigeria’s agricultural potential, including the animal husbandry ecosystem, to drive sustainable economic growth, create industries and jobs, and ultimately eradicate violent conflicts between farmers and herders.
