Oyo Police Reacts to Viral Video of “Slave House” for Child Trafficking

The Oyo State Police Command has dismissed as false, a viral social media video alleging the existence of a “slave house” in the state where children are reportedly being sold.

The state police in a statement issued on Thursday, called the claims “completely false” and “a figment of the author’s mischievous imagination.”

The viral video, which has circulated widely across various social media platforms, has raised alarm among residents. However, the police insist that there is no basis for the claim, urging the public to be cautious about spreading unverified information that could incite unnecessary fear.
