Oyo Governor’s Family Releases Burial Plans for Late Engr. Sunday Makinde

The family of the Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has released the burial arrangements for the late Engineer Sunday Makinde.

The events are scheduled to take place this week.

According to a radio announcement made by Mogaji Olumuyiwa Makinde on Monday morning, the burial activities will begin on Thursday, 6 February 2024, with a special service of songs to be held at the Remembrance Arcade, Government House, Ibadan. The event will commence at 5:00 PM.

The burial will take place on Friday, 7 February, following a commendation service at Bishop Akinyele Church, Iwo Road, Ibadan.

Entertainment of guests will be held at the open grounds of the prestigious Ibadan Recreation Club, Ibadan, after the burial.

According to Mogaji Olumuyiwa Makinde, only invited guests will be permitted to attend the events.

Engineer Sunday Makinde was 65 years old and is survived by his wife, children, Engineer Seyi Makinde, Mr. Kayode Makinde, and others.
