Oyo Govt Delegation Pays Condolence Visit to Late Commissioner’s Family

Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan, has paid a condolence visit alongside top Government officials to the family of Kehinde Ayoola, the State Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, who died on Thursday morning.

Engineer Rauf while commiserating with the wife of the decease, Prof Olukemi Ayoola, the deputy governor described the death of Ayoola as a shocking one and an unprecedented loss in Governor Seyi Makinde’s Administration.

He described Ayoola as a resourceful and active contributor during the weekly state Exceutive meetings and that he was never a dormant member of the state executive Council.

He lamented that Ayoola died when Oyo state Governor and team members are trying to reshape and reset Oyo state from where they met it but declared that the deceased contributed his quota for the development of the state.

The Deputy-Governor however condoled with family members of the the deceased and urged them to accept the heartfelt sympathy of the state cabinet and the people of Oyo state.

Responding on behalf of the family, the son of the deceased, Beel’Oluwawi Ayoola, thanked the government delegation for the visit.

Top Government official that was on the Condolence visit’s entourage include the Secretary to the State Government, Olubanwo Adeosun, Head of Service, Amidat Agboola, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Seyi Makinde, and others.

Kehinde Ayoola, was born in Oyo town in January 1965 and attended St. Michael’s Primary School, Oke Ebo, Oyo, Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo and the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) Ile-Ife, in Osun.

He served as the Speaker of the 4th Session of the Oyo State House of Assembly under the Lam Adesina administration and was the Oyo state commissioner for Environment, until his demise on May 14.
