Governor Makinde Sets to Present 2021 Budget to Oyo Assembly Next Week

The Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has said the state’s 2021 budget has been perfected and concluded at the State Executive Council level.

Governor Makinde disclosed this on Wednesday, during the passing out ceremony of the 1,500 personnel of the Oyo state Security Network Agency and Amotekun corps, held at Emmanuel Alayande College of Education Sports Complex, Main Campus, Oyo.

According to the governor, the Appropriation Bill will be presented to the State House of Assembly next week.

Governor Makinde who noted that security is one of the sectors that took the lion’s share in the budget said the state government has requested another police squadron from the inspector general of police, Mohammed Adamu.

Governor Makinde, however, said the appropriation bill, when implemented will achieve a good budget performance and the citizen will get value for their money.
