Former Special Adviser on Security Matters to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Fatai Owoseni, has joined the Accord , days after resigning from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)-led administration in the state.

Sources close to the former police commissioner disclosed that consultations have reached an advanced stage ahead of his formal declaration for the party and he’s expected to obtain the gubernatorial form of the party.

A development that is already generating political conversations within Oyo State ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

Owoseni, who was regarded as one of Governor Makinde’s strong allies, recently stepped down from his advisory role in the administration without publicly stating his next political move.
