The three Ibarapa cattle breeders who were abducted on Sunday evening have regained their freedom after a six million naira ransom was paid.
OyoAffairs had reported over the weekend that three Yoruba cattle breeders identified as Kabiru Oladimeji, Kazeem and Soka, were kidnapped at Idi-Ope, near Igangan, in Ibarapa North Local Government Area of the State on Sunday.
The Convener of Igangan Development Advocate, Oladokun Oladiran has now confirmed the release of the three people. He also added that they were released on Monday after the sum of Six Million Naira was paid.
He said, βYes. They kidnapped three people on Sunday but they have been released. They were released on Monday after a ransom of six million naira was paid. They collected two million naira from each victim.β
