Accord Reps Candidate, Arisekola, Declares Support For Makinde’s Re-election Bid

Umar Farouk Arisekola, The Accord Party Candidate for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives has announced his defection to the ruling Party in Oyo state, the People Democratic Party.

Arisekola, who lost the Election, has announced on his Social Media Handle that he has cross carpeted to PDP to further support the Re-election bid of Governor Seyi Makinde and to further support good governance in the State.

He said, “Dear family, friends, political associates and supporters, this is to officially announce my defection to the ruling People’s Democratic Party in the state. I appreciate the show of love during the recently concluded National Assembly elections where I contested for the Ibadan North Federal Representative under the platform of Accord”.

He continued, “I might have lost the election but the quest for good governance borne out of my deep love and concern for Ibadan North continues. I will continue to support its growth and development.
Since the word on the street is #SeyiLekansi, I join to echo it”.
