Operatives of the Amotekun Corps have reportedly foiled a kidnapping attempt in Saki, around Sharon Rose College area, Challenge, on Friday, March 12, 2022.
It was gathered that the operatives around 3:45pm to 4:10pm yesterday rounded up the kidnapper, who was pretending to be a lunatic.
The alleged kidnapper, identified as Hajarah was apprehended while trying to lure one Taiwo Muhammad by giving him something to eat.
The Amotekun Corps later disclosed that the said woman only disguised to be a lunatic while she used items like sweet, orange, N20, dates and so on, to entice innocent children to her den.
According to a Saki platform on Facebook, parents have to orientate their children against the ploys of kidnappers on the streets.
The matter has since been handed over to the police in Saki.
Recall oyoaffairs.net had on Tuesday reported that a 70-year-old father colluded with his teenage sons to kidnap and murder 8-year old Raheem while he was returning from school. The case is still reportedly with the Police Command in the town.
