Residents of Alubarika area, Saki town have taken to the streets to demand justice for missing eight year-old Bamimore Raheem, who was found dead in a building close to the house of the suspects, who murdered him.
The aggrieved residents were said to have mobilised themselves to the police station to demand justice.
Raheem had gone missing last Friday, March 4, 2022, after his parents took to the media when they didn’t see him at home.
According to reports, “Raheem was said to have come back home around 12:30pm on that fateful Friday, to drop his backpack from school and rushed out.

“His parents had declared him missing after he left and didn’t come back till evening.
“They said they had thought that maybe he forgot something at school but he never returned home”.
According to the deceased’s twin brother, they were already at the gate of their parent’s house, when some guys in the neighborhood beckoned to his brother for a conversation before he entered into the house.

One of kidnappers, AbdulRasaq upon interrogation confessed that they had the intent of kidnapping AbdulRaheem to garner money from his father, by luring him to a building.
Unfortunately for them, the boy recognised their faces as they live in the same neighbourhood.
For the fear that AbdulRaheem could easily reveal to his parents how he has been manhandled and tied up, the other accomplice, Waliu who is AbdulRasaq’s brother, gave the boy rat poison to drink.
Meanwhile, AbdulRaheem’s body was discovered by the community residents in an uncompleted building where he was dumped by the 70-year old father of the suspects, AbdulRasaq Padun after he was murdered.

The suspects have however been arrested by the officers of the Saki Police Command, after confessing to the crime.
