The Joint Action Committee of the Non-Academic Staff Union and the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities has announced the commencement of two weeks warning strike.

This was contained in a press release signed by the General Secretary of NASU, Prince Peters Adeyemi and the National President of SSANU, Comrade Mohammed Ibrahim on Friday in Abuja.

According to the release, the Committee noted that the commencement of the strike is subsequent to a warning letter sent to the Federal Government which was ignored.

They noted that the strike would commence by midnight of Sunday, 27th March, 2022 and would be a comprehensive and total strike with no concession given in any guise.
