Oyo state Governor; Engr Seyi Makinde, has reportedly sacked the chairman of the Oyo State Board of Internal Revenue, OYBIR; Aremo John Adeleke.
Though there is no official word yet from the government, credible sources close to the administration revealed that the Eruwa-born technocrat was relieved of his duties yesterday.This decision to suspend the OYBIR boss could not be ascertained as the time of filing this report.
Different sources, who reacted to the development on the condition of anonymity told disclosed that the governor would, anytime from now, reshuffle his cabinet members whilst stopping the work of some commissioners and Special Assistant.
“Three of the commissioners, one each from Oyo, Ibarapa and Okeogun and Ibadan may not return. Ogbomoso is likely going to have two commissioners in the new Excos about to be formed,” said one of the sources.
