The Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District in the senate, Teslim Kolawole Folarin has reacted angrily to President Muhammadu Buhari’s broadcast on COVID-19 Cumulative Lockdown, describing it as disappointing and mere political decision that stood against all logic.

Senator Teslim Folarin stated this while speaking on Fresh FM COVID-19 SITUATION ROOM this Tuesday. He said the position taken by the President stood against all logic judging by statistics ranging from the first lockdown, the country has over 147% percent increase in the pandemic outbreak in the country.

Folarin, who was the Peoples Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate in the 2015 election and came distant 4th in the contest, advised that Buhari ought have announced another round of lockdown for two weeks. “So they put pressure on the president and Mr President seeing high resistance from the citizens that there can’t be total lockdown without palliatives.”

“For that reason,Mr President allowed the Governors to have their way, that’s what I suspect.”
