Controversy, Drama as Ibadan Poly Bans Use of Cross Styled Bags by Students

Uproars and reactions have trailed the decision of The Polytechnic, Ibadan management following an embargo placed on the use of cross styled bag by students of the institution.

The authorities of the great citadel of learning in a recent memo made available to all units of the institution, has made a stern order to all students to do away with the use of cross bag in the institution.

Oyoaffairs.net believed that this may come in place as a reaction to forestall the continuous occurrence of cultism activities in the institution.

Most students who see the new order in different perspectives have taken to their social media platforms to express their views, while questioning why the institution had made such law.

In a related development, an institution in the northern part of the country, has also banned students from the use of smartphones on campus.
