Despite Economic Boom, Ajimobi Failed To Pay Pensioners- Oyo Pensioners

The Oyo State Chapter of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners (NUP) has declared their support for Governor Seyi Makinde led Government in Oyo State saying it is one with human face.

The Secretary of the Union in Oyo State, Comrade Segun Abatan who was Aanuoluwapo Omorinde’s guest stated this today while speaking on IMPACT POINT a weekly News and Current Affairs programme on IBR 92.5fm Ibadan.

According to him, Governor Seyi Makinde has been performing wonderfully well. “The money that the Ajimobi’s administration could not pay Pensioners is what the Governor is paying now. Let me tell you something, the last administration had more money than this Government because their were a lot of monies that that administration received even amidst the economic realities of the time”
