EASTER: Makinde Exhorts Christians To Look Out For Each Other

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has wished Oyo State Christians as well as the worldwide Christian assembly a wonderful Easter 2021 celebration and also called on them to continue to live the way Jesus Christ did by forgiving others and being their brother’s keeper.


In a recent statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, the Governor thanked God for protecting the lives of his people and charged residents of the state to hold steadfast in their support of their government.


In his words, “I want to thank God for sparing our lives up until this moment and to encourage the people, residents, and indigenes of Oyo State to remain steadfast. Christ has paid the price for us. So, they should keep on supporting their government and should, in the spirit of the season, be their brother’s keeper”


He further went on to urge Christians in the state to continue to remain steadfast in their connection to Jesus Christ and to not take lightly the price the son of God paid for their salvation on this symbolic day


“This is the period also to get connected to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who died so that we may be saved.”
