ENDSARS: NOA Calls For Calm Over Ongoing Protests by Youths

The Oyo State Director of the National Orientation Agency, Mrs. Dolapo Dosumu, has appealed to the aggrieved youths in the country to calm their nerves in the course of their ongoing demonstrations tagged #ENDSARS against police brutality and urged them to avoid unruly behavior that would further endanger their lives and make them face the wrath of the law.

Mrs. Dosumu, made the appeal this Sunday, in a chat with Oyo Affairs correspondent, while speaking on the marathon protests by the Nigerian youths which she said the demonstrations are already turning violent nationwide and thereby, trampling on the rights of other Nigerians.

She, therefore, called on the entire citizens and youths to sheathe their swords and allow peace to reign.

The NOA Director, in her further reactions, maintained that there is a need to review police operations in the country, as well as improve their welfare packages to enable them to serve the society better.
