A wandering elephant has been spotted at Saki in Oyo State by some farmers.
A farmer and Facebook user identified as Adesope Habeeb, yesterday took to Facebook to share the photos of the elephant being petted by excited farmers and spectators.
According to Adesope, the elephant was seen some miles within his farm in Saki.
He later remarked that; “If the government is proactive about the elephant, it can be captured alive to salvage our wildlife”.

What a painful loss. No Wildlife and Forestry experts in Oyo State? This is not the best way to transport an elephant. The African elephant is near extinct.
