The Oyo state Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has expressed his desire to develop rural areas and providing good roads as one of the plans to expand the economy of the state.

Governor Makinde affirmed this when he received Austrian Ambassador in his office at Agodi, Secretariat, Ibadan, this Friday.

He noted that access roads to rural areas is one of the projects his administration planed to develop.

Earlier, Austrian ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Guildo stock, expressed the readiness of Austrian government to partner with Oyo state and help the state in recycling waste and wasted swapping in other to make the state clean and more hygienic.

He maintained that Austria government is ready to support the state in areas of renewable energy to make oyo a better state.
