Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has charged the Oyo State Road Transport Management Agency (OYRTMA) to be diligent and remain professional in dealing with road users especially, heavy truck drivers.
The Governor gave the charge when he paid on the spot assessment visit to the proposed OYRTMA headquarters at Sanyo in Ibadan.
He, however, promised speedy renovation of the proposed headquarters building and ensure it is conducive for the officials of the Oyo State State Road Transport Management Agency in carrying out their duties.
The governor, who equally accessed facilities at Jericho Specialist hospital, Jericho, Ibadan, and the uncompleted Maternal and paediatric centre, Jericho, annex, said the government will ensure completion of the Maternal and paediatric centre Jericho, annex so that Jericho Specialist hospital can move into it before the end of this year.
Oyo Affairs Correspondent, who witnessed the assessment reports that after a 2 hours tour around the hospital facilities, governor Makinde paid off four patients’ medical bills who are in critical condition.
