Governor Makinde Gives UCH Ambulance to Aid in the Fight Against COVID-19

The Oyo state Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, today, 8th July 2020, entrusted an ambulance to the University College, Ibadan, to facilitate the fight against COVID-19.

Dr Adebisi Ayoola, the Permanent Secretary, Oyo State Ministry of Health, who presented the ambulance to the hospital on behalf of the State Governor, emphasized that there was a crucial need for a stronger relationship between the Oyo State Government and the UCH to deliver adequate and prompt healthcare to the citizens of Oyo State and Nigeria in general.

The Chairman (MAC), Dr. Victor Akinmoladun who received the ambulance on behalf of the management, commended the state government for the initiative and stated that the Hospital is ready to combat the spread of COVID-19 and to give patients optimum care.

Dr Akinmoladun assured the Oyo State Government that the UCH is ready to cooperate in providing good health to Nigerians.
