Governor Makinde Invites Scout Camp Market Executives Over Unnecessary Road Barricade

The Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has invited executives of Scout Camp Market, Molete Ibadan for a dialogue.

The governor who paid on the spot assessment visit to the market this Wednesday, lamented unnecessary barricade of Molete-Challenge axis by the residents traders, maintaining that government will do all within its power to ensure the market is conducive for the traders and stay aback from road sides.

In a chat with the market leaders, governor Makinde proposed to reduce the cost of rent of shops within the market, provide constant electricity supply and adequate security of lives and property.

He, thereafter, invited the Scout Camp Market executives to a round table meeting at 4:00PM today.

In his remarks, the Babaloja of Scout Camp Market, Mr Kehinde Tewo, appreciated governor Makinde for his timely visit and used the opportunity the brief the governor on challenges faced by the residents traders and their demands.
