Governor Seyi Makinde has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle in Oyo State, redeploying Alhaja Faosat Joke Sanni to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion.

Sanni takes over from Honourable (Mrs) Toyin Balogun, who has been relieved of her appointment with immediate effect.

Governor Makinde thanked Balogun for her contributions to the state’s development and wished her well in her future endeavours — according to a statement from the Governor’s office.

Sanni previously served as Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion between 2019 and 2023, before her redeployment to the Ministry of Special Duties later that year. She was most recently at the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperative before this latest reshuffle.

The redeployment takes immediate effect.
