Governor Makinde’s Aide, Sen Hosea Agboola Appointed Caretaker Chairman of Ekiti PDP

Chairman of Governor’s Advisory Council in Oyo State and former Oyo North senator, Sen. Hosea Agboola Ayoola has been appointed as caretaker chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ekiti.

This is following the bad blood rancour between former governor Ayo Fayose and Sen. Biodun Olujimi has generated over who controls the soul of the party.

A letter personally signed by the national organizing secretary of the party. Col Austin Akobundu (Rtrd), yesterday in Abuja, urged Alleluyah as Agboola is popularly called, to deploy his wealth of experience in the administration of the party in Ekiti state pending when a new state congress will hold and a new elected state party exco will be in place.

According to the letter, the party urged Alleluyah and his his interim excos to be guided by the party constitution and the electoral act 2010 as amended as well as the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.

Alleluyah and his team are expected to work for three months.
