The Oyo State Government has given the wife of Yemi Adeniran, also known as Yemi Laidat, automatic employment at the Polytechnic of Ibadan, Ibadan.
The letter of employment was presented to the widow by the Honorable Commissioner for Education on Monday, on behalf of Governor Seyi Makinde.
Ola Adeosun, one of Laidat’s friends appreciated the goodwill of the Governor in a Facebook post. “On behalf of the Adeniran family, we thank Mr Governor for keeping this particular promise. We are not unaware of the roles played by various individuals and organizations,who in one way or the other have played one role or the other in ensuring that this event came to fruition.”
The former NANS leader, Comrade Yemi Adeniran Laidat, had died in a ghastly automobile accident which happened when he was returning from Abuja, after the Supreme Court judgement on the governorship election in Oyo State, last year December.
