Governor’s Convoy Didn’t Crush Anybody – Witness

OyoAffairs can confirm that, contrary to the rumor making the rounds that Governor Seyi Makinde’s convoy ran over a child during a PDP rally in Ogbomosho for the upcoming LG Elections, credible sources reaching us have debunked this accusation.


According to the reports, this is a false accusation and a shameless political attack on the office of the Governor to try and sabotage the upcoming election.


The authorities have also found out that someone driving a Toyota Matrix ran over the child, and as the Governor’s convoy does not contain any Toyota Matrix, it couldn’t have been the Governor’s convoy that was responsible for the incident.

Buttressing the fact that the rumours are malicious fake news, it has also been confirmed that the accident happened long before the arrival of the Governor at the rally.


Residents of Ogbomosho have been asked to remain calm and await the result of further investigation into the accident, as the culprit has been found and arrested, and right now he is in custody at Owode police station.
