Grand Chief Imam of Ogbomosoland congratulates Pastor Afolabi Olaoye on becoming the new Soun

The Muslim Ummah of Ogbomosoland is celebrating the appointment of Prince Afolabi Olaoye as the Soun-Elect, bringing an end to the 20-month vacancy of the exalted stool. The Grand Chief Imam, Imam Tellat Yunus Olushina Ayilara II, has congratulated Prince Afolabi Olaoye and called on all Ogbomoso indigenes to unite in building a peaceful and prosperous Ogbomosoland.

For almost five decades, Ogbomosoland has been under the esteemed and distinguished leadership of the Olaoye Ruling House.
