In response to the recent interview granted by a former member House of Representatives, Hon. Saheed Fijabi, where he attacked the current member representing Ibadan Northwest/ Southwest of Oyo state at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide Odidi-omo on his constituency projects, a group known as Ibadan Like Minds Youth Forum has told Hon. Fijabi to rather remain silent than picking on Odidi-omo, to regain his stability which he lost many years ago.
The forum said it is ridiculous for someone that represented the people for good 8years without any landmark achievement, to pick one out of numerous projects embark upon by Odidi-omo in just 2 years and few months, as a law maker.
The group further stressed that Hon. Adedeji Olajide has touched all aspect of human endeavours through human capacity building and empowerment in just little time as a law maker which has contributed to personal growth and development of his constituents and the nation at large, through motions and sponsored bills at lower chamber of the National Assembly.
“Name all aspects of economic growth and development he hasn’t touched from education, health, agriculture, sport to human developmen.
“His recent mega empowerment which has recieved massive appraisal from people within and outside the state, is more than enough to keep self centered politicians and bad representatives abreast of good representation modern politics.
“We challenge Hon. Fijabi to point at his sustained constituency project and give accurate account of his representation in 8 years and place side by side with just 30 months of Odidi-omo as a federal representative, it is no doubt that he will learn his lessons and be able to pick the great representation style exhibited by Odidi-omo to help him (Fijabi) in his next world of politics.”
