The re-arrested alleged fugitive, Sunday Sodipe, has confessed he is responsible for the recent death of another woman in Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The suspect, who is suspected for some unresolved homicides in the State made the disclosure when he was paraded on Wednesday at the Oyo State Police Command in Ibadan, after his re-arrest on Sunday.

Two days after his escape from police custody on August 11, 2020, the criminal confessed that he killed one Mrs Funmilayo Oladeji at her house.

Sodipe reported that he went back to Akinyele after escaping police custody. Sodipe said, “I inflicted machete cut on her head, ” when asked how he killed the deceased.

He also said that he jumped over the prison fence when he was allowed to go and have his bath because his supervisor got distracted while talking to someone.
