Ibadan–born Nollywood actor, Kunle Afod, and his wife, Desola have parted ways.
Desola, the wife of the actor made the announcement in a terse message on her Instagram page on Tuesday.
She wrote, “The good news you wanna hear. I left Kunle Afod.”
Desola had yesterday celebrated Kunle on his 49th birthday, where she prayed for him.
She had referred to him as the father of their four children.
Celebrating the actor, she wrote, “Happy Birthday Daddy Omiayo, Desire, Imodola, Yiyenitemi. May God bless you on your birthday and always.”
Recall in 2018, Desola caused a major commotion on social media when she cried out that actresses would not allow her and the children to enjoy her husband.
Later in July 2022, Desola knocked a troll who accused her husband of having an extramarital affair with a lady in Ibadan, Oyo state.
“Why do you want to kill yourself for a man that does not LOVE you? Na only you dey love up and down. Which dirty Afod husband are you praising? That has another wife in Ibadan and she is presently pregnant and they are both planning engagement soon you will hear the news,” the troll wrote in the comment section of her post.
Desola had fired back: “Use your original account, make AFOD f*ck your mama! Make every woman born for am, they will be slaves for my children and I won’t LEAVE HIM gan sef…I don’t need him to love me, as long as I do WE MOVE”.
The entrepreneur and mother of four reportedly got into another fight with another troll in August 2022.
The drama started after Desola shared a loved-up video of herself and her husband on Instagram.
Reacting in the comment section of the post, the lady identified as Barbara Katty wrote: “Afod wey his d*ck no stay one place. We don born for ur husband”.
Angered by the comment, Desola dared the Instagram user to reveal her real identity.
“You don’t have to use a false account if you’re bold. Even if you do….. I won’t leave him,” she wrote.
Later this year, Dasola who was seemingly angered by another troll wrote, “For all the actresses and upcoming actresses that have f**ked with Baba Omiayo, I dare you all to be in the same location with him. Then you will see the relaxed Desola. Just because I have been quiet.”
Meanwhile, the actor, Kunle Afod had kept mum on his wife’s allegations, assuring that his marriage was fine.
Although their marriage produced four children, the actor, has a 19-year-old daughter, Angel with an ex-lover before his marriage to Desola.
Meanwhile, it’s been confirmed that Desola has unfollowed the actor on Instagram.
