Olayinka Solomon, the former wife of Ibrahim Chatta, a Nollywood actor and producer, has opened up on why she opted for divorce after giving birth to their first child.

In an interview with an online TV, Yinka accused Chatta of wife battering, claiming that she lost her first pregnancy after one of his assaults.

Narrating her ordeal, she said: “In 2007, we first met. We began living together in 2008, and he was my first love. In my entire life, I have never dated another man. He de-flowered me, forcing me to submit to him in the hopes that when he had money, we may do introductions and other things.
