Ibrahim Chatta’s Ex-Wife, Yinka Opens Up on Losing First Pregnancy to Spousal Abuse

Olayinka Solomon, the former wife of Ibrahim Chatta, a Nollywood actor and producer, has opened up on why she opted for divorce after giving birth to their first child.

In an interview with an online TV, Yinka accused Chatta of wife battering, claiming that she lost her first pregnancy after one of his assaults.

Narrating her ordeal, she said: “In 2007, we first met. We began living together in 2008, and he was my first love. In my entire life, I have never dated another man. He de-flowered me, forcing me to submit to him in the hopes that when he had money, we may do introductions and other things.

Yinka added that her ex-husband, Chatta brought in his girlfriend into the house three months after their child was named.

“I prepared and stayed in the guest room for them. It is something that people can attest to”, she narrated.

Yinka sadly narrated how the gentle-looking actor beat her to a pulp after she confronted him on why his girlfriend was still staying in their home after the weekend he had promised they were only spending together.

“When I asked why she hadn’t left after a week, he started beating me, and that’s how I left his house for the first time”, she firmly stated.

Concluding her story, she noted that she regretted meeting the producer who treated her like a slave.

Earlier, Ibrahim Chatta had stated in a recent interview that his former wife’s attitude was the reason for their divorce and not the battery and abuse claim by her.
