The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed April 15 for the conduct of supplementary federal house representatives elections in Oyo State.

OyoAffairs.net had earlier reported that INEC had declared the two local governments in Ibadan Capital of Oyo State elections of Feb 25th in Oluyole federal constituency and Ibadan South East/ North East federal constituency as inconclusive.

The commission, in a statement posted on Twitter on Monday, said supplementary polls for national and state assembly elections will also take place on April 15.

“Arising from its meeting held today, the Independent National Electoral Commission has decided that all outstanding Governorship, National, and State Assembly supplementary elections will take place on Saturday, 15th April 2023,” the statement reads.
