…Tells Governor Traders Will Forever Be Grateful to Him
The Iyaloja General of Oyo State, Princess Folashade Nurudeen Abeo has praised Governor Seyi Makinde for his statesmanship and foresight as he prepares to commission the reconstructed Akesan market today.
She said that traders who use the market, especially those from the ancient town will forever be grateful to the governor for engineering this rare feat.
She also thanked the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi for his constant support for traders in Oyo State and enjoined the traders to troop out to show their gratitude to the governor and his entourage.
The ancient market was razed last January but has now been reconstructed for use and will be commissioned tomorrow.
