JUST IN: Adesokan, Baale of Bodija is Dead

Rasheed Adeniyi Mofolorunso Akangbe Adesokan, Baale of Bodija has reportedly passed away on Saturday at the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan.

The death of the retired captain of the Nigerian Army was announced by the Chairman of the Muslim Community of Oyo State, MUSCOYS.

Adesokan, who was the last surviving child of his parents, was the Balogun Mumini of Yorubaland.

He was the first Baale of Bodija, having been installed in 1992. He was an in-law and close ally of late Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, AbdulAzeez Arisekola Alao.
