The Executive Governor of Oyo State, ‘Seyi Makinde has approved the total reconstruction and rehabilitation of roads in Eruwa and Ido towns axis of the state.
Makinde, who made this revelation at Idere, Ibarapa Central Local Government stated that, “The decision was reached during our Executive Council Meeting at Saki, this morning, although, past governments have awarded this road contracts before, but nothing was seen, the company will be dealt with and we will make sure to collect the Oyo State money back”.
In the meantime, Makinde will flag off the developmental project in the Ibarapa region of the state during his Omi Tuntun 2.0 campaign at the region of the state.
The project is among the focus of the state to encourage the widespread development across the five regions of the state and minimising marginalisation of the Ibarapa region which has been entrenched by the past governments in the pace setter state.
