A scavenger presumed to be mentally-ill has been left with a broken leg on Ojoo express road, opposite the park area, after being hit by a bike man while attempting to cross the road.
A passersby who spoke with our correspondent said the horrific incident happened some minutes ago and no one has attempted to help the man to the hospital, as many assumed he was not mentally stable because of his tattered look.
Left by the roadside, the victim is seen writhing in pain and lying in the pool of his own blood.
Meanwhile, another scavenger who identified him, said some people had gone to get a truck to transport him to a hospital.
However, as at press time, there is no help for him either from the park managers or other authorities around.
Meanwhile, the bike man could not be identified as he had zoomed off after the incident.
“The bike man did not stop at the scene, and I am appealing to anybody who witnessed the incident to, please get in touch with the police and help this man”, the passerby said.
